There is a restaurant here in my hometown that has always served the best fish dip appetizer. I've loved it even before I was an avid fish lover. It's simple, delicious, and the perfect start to an ocean view meal.

I recently decided to make my own version of a smoked fish dip at home, which is how this recipe came to be! My fish dip uses salmon as opposed to white fish, but still has that rustic, uncomplicated vibe I was after.

The best part about this dip is that it takes just minutes to make. Yes, you do have to have smoked fish already prepared, but the actual prep time to make this one is just five minutes. If you don't have a smoker to smoke your fish, you can usually find smoked fish for sale at your local seafood shop. Support local!

I hope you love this easy recipe as much as I do!
