If you are looking for a salty low-carb snack option, these salami chips are for you!

Salami chips aren't really actual chips, so to speak. What they are is a great substitute for potato chips if you're looking for a chip fix! They are made by baking salami slices in the oven until they are nice and crisp, just like chips!

I like to go the easy route and get deli-sliced salami to make this recipe. You can use a more expensive salami that you slice yourself, but I've found that buying the salami from the deli counter is an easy way to get the super thin slices that you need for this recipe.

I love how quickly they bake in the oven and I know you will, too! Keep your eye on them and pull them from the oven when they look crisp, but not completely burnt. I like mine extra dark, but feel free to pull yours out of the oven when they look done to your liking.

I hope you love them as much as I do!

HOW TO MAKE SALAMI CHIPS

Salami chips are made by baking thin-sliced salami in the oven until crisp like chips. They bake in just ten minutes at 375 degrees F. See below for detailed recipe instructions.

ARE SALAMI CHIPS KETO?

Yes! Salami chips are keto! Salami is high in fat and low in carbs which makes salami chips a great keto-friendly snack.

HOW LONG DO SALAMI CHIPS LAST?

Salami chips will last up to seven days stored in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.

WHAT TO SERVE WITH SALAMI CHIPS

Salami chips can be eaten as a stand-alone snack or with a dip. Try them with a sweet dip like honey mustad to balance out the natural saltiness of the salami.

Baked Salami Chips

Baked Salami Chips are a salty, crispy, low-carb snack that you can make in just ten minutes!

prep time: cook time: total time: 12 MIN

INGREDIENTS

12 slices thin-sliced salami

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.

2. Arrange the salami in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

3. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until your desired doneness. Blot the salami with paper towels to remove any excess grease.

NOTES

The cook time will vary depending on the thickness of your salami and how dark you want them to be. I like mine extra crispy and almost burnt!

This recipe will work with both hard salami and genoa salami.

Depending on how many salami chips you want to make, you may need to cook in batches or use more than one baking sheet.
