Every year, I look forward to the beginning of fall. Fall brings the crisp weather and the changing of the leaves that I so love, but also brings busier schedules and new routines.
This time of year calls for comforting, yet quick and easy meals that won't keep me cooped up in the kitchen for too long. When our schedules pick up, I want to spend more time with my family when I can, and less time stressing over what's for dinner.
This Kielbasa Pierogy Hash is on permanent rotation in our house this time of year.
What exactly is Kielbasa Pierogy Hash, you might ask? Well, let me fill you in!
Kielbasa Pierogy Hash is a twist on one of my family's very favorite recipes. Originally, I used simple cut up potatoes instead of pierogies. This recipe steps up the delicious factor a notch and uses Mrs. T’s® Pierogies from Publix in place of the potatoes.
Let me tell you, friends, this was a stroke of genius on my part.
You see, pierogies are stuffed pasta pockets, kind of like ravioli, that are stuffed with creamy whipped potatoes and cheese. So, when you use pierogies in place of plain old potatoes, you get a little pasta and a little potato. What's not to love about that, am I right?
Genius, I tell you.
I used Mrs. T’s Mini Four Cheese Medley Pierogies for this recipe. They are stuffed with Parmesan, Cheddar, Romano, and Swiss cheeses, plus the classic creamy whipped potatoes. Their mini size is absolutely perfect for our favorite kielbasa hash and, to put it simply, they are stuffed with the stuff we love.
Give me all the pierogies stuffed with potatoes, cheese, cheese, and more cheese, please!
Mrs. T’s Pierogies are so, SO good no matter how you prepare them. You can boil, bake, sauté, fry, or grill them. The recipe possibilities are endless!

Oh, and one more thing...October 8th is National Pierogy Day! That means there's no better time than now to try this easy recipe. You can add Mrs. T’s Pierogies to your Publix Instacart order here. I know you're going to love it. Enjoy!

1 (14 ounce) package turkey kielbasa, cut into 1/4 inch rounds
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 yellow, red or orange bell pepper, diced
1 small red onion, diced

HOW TO MAKE KIELBASA, PEPPER, ONION, AND PIEROGY HASH
Kielbasa, Pepper, Onion, and Pierogy Hash is made by combining sauteed kielbasa, pierogies, peppers, and onions. It is a simple skillet meal with easy to find ingredients. Look for Mrs. T’s Pierogies at your local Publix in the frozen food section. See below for detailed recipe instructions.WHAT EXACTLY IS HASH?
A hash is a dish that traditionally consists of chopped meat, potatoes, and onions. For this hash, I use chopped kielbasa for the meat, Mrs. T’s Mini Four Cheese Medley Pierogies with their creamy potato filling, chopped onions, and I add chopped bell peppers. Yep, the traditional spelling is pierogi, but Mrs. T’s Pierogies are anything but ordinary. The use of "y" instead of "i" is a little different, a little special, and a whole lotta fun.
