White Chocolate Oreo Cookie Balls

White Chocolate Oreo Balls are no-bake, sweet, truffle-like treats that are dipped in dreamy white chocolate.

White Chocolate Oreo Cookie Balls

Oreo Balls are my absolute favorite quick and easy, no-bake, sweet treat recipe.  I made a bunch of them at Christmas time and I knew I'd be making them again.  If you make them once, I can pretty much guarantee you'll make them again, too.

I signed up to bring cookies to my little lady's VPK class for their Easter party.  I was literally at the store to get the cookie baking supplies that I needed when I saw the Oreos out of the corner of my eye.

I knew right away they would be 1. just as easy, if not easier, to make than standard cookies and 2. the kids in her class would love them.  My girl loved helping me make them, all the little kiddos did indeed love them, and both of her teachers asked for the recipe. Success!

I really think that one of the best parts of this recipe is that you can make some many different versions using different kinds of Oreos, different chocolates for dipping, and whatever sprinkles or toppers fit your occasion.  I've made White Chocolate Pistachio, Trail Mix, S'mores, and Christmas themed.  This White Chocolate version is just perfect for Easter!

Ingredients

Instructions
  1. In your food processor, process the Oroes until they are crumbs.  Process in the cream cheese until well blended.
  2. Roll the mixture in your hands to make small 1-inch balls.  (We made little egg shapes for Easter!)  Place the balls onto a wax paper-lined cookie sheet.  Freeze for at least 10 minutes.  The longer, the better!
  3. Dip the balls into the melted chocolate using two forks to dip them.  Immediately sprinkle with sprinkles.
  4. Chill for one hour in the refrigerator.  Store in the refrigerator or freeze.
